Uncertain and Fuzzy Knowledge Representation and Reasoning, Conceptual Structures,
Non-Classical Logics and their Applications, Object-Oriented Systems,
Intelligent Internet.

2007-2009 (Chief Investigator): Information Extraction and Integration on
Vietnamese Semantic Web.
This is a national university key project funded by Vietnam National University at
Ho Chi Minh City (VNU-HCM).
2006-2008: Advanced Methods for Knowledge Representation and
Integration with Applications.
This is a joint research project with the Knowledge Science School, JAIST, Japan and
the AI Group, University of Bristol, UK.
2004-2006 (Chief Investigator): Vietnamese Semantic Web.
This is a national key project funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
2003-2004 (Chief Investigator): Concept-Based Information Retrieval.
The project is funded by the Ministry of Science and Technology.
2003-2004 (Chief Investigator): Top-Down Approach to Source Code
Plagiarism Detection.
The project is funded by HCMC University of Technology.
1999-2001: Fuzzy Object-Oriented Logic Programming.
Developed a theoretical framework for uncertain and fuzzy object-oriented models.
On this formal basis FRIL++ was implemented as an uncertain and fuzzy object-oriented
logic programming language to be used for constructing intelligent systems. In particular,
it was used to develop a fuzzy object-oriented data browser software module.
The project was funded by EPSRC and carried out with Bristol AI Group.
